The Beatles visit the editorial headquarters of 'Disc'.
1963
'Please Please Me' LP number 1, 28th week (UK Record Retailer chart).
Evening. Concert at the Winter Gardens, Bournemouth ('The Beatles Autumn Tour'). Filmed by US TV.
1964
Riverside Studios, London. Recording of performance for BBC-TV's 'Top Of The Pops'.
1965
Martin works on the running order of 'Rubber Soul' songs. He phones to Abbey Road communicating his decision.
1968
'Hey Jude' number 1, 8th week, 12th week in the Top 30 (Billboard).
1973
UK single release: 'Mind Games'/'Meat City'.
1983
'Say Say Say' number 1, 6th and last week (Billboard).
2010
Apple announced that its iTunes store has begun carrying music by The Beatles.
