Southern Area Fan Club Convention, Wimbledon Palais, Wimbledon, London.
Afternoon. Beatles greeting each fan attending, at the bar.
Evening. Concert.
Photographer Dezo Hoffmann present. 1st time crowd barriers are used for a Beatles concert.

1968
'Hey Jude', 16th week in the Top 30 (Billboard).

1969
John and Yoko arrive in a white bag inside a white Rolls Royce, at Hyde Park (at Cumberland Gate), to protest for James Hanratty, while Hanratty's father addresses the crowd. Later, Hanratty and the Lennons drive to 10 Downing Street, to present a petition at the Prime Minister's residence.

1970
Gold certification: 'Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)' Gold certification: 'My Sweet Lord'.

1971
John Sinclair is released, because Michigan's penalties for possession of drugs had been reduced.

1977

End of 'London Town' LP sessions at Air London Studios.

1980

The FBI makes public, under a judge's order, archives related to its investigation about John Lennon to deport him.
