Brian writes to Ron White, from the EMI sales department, to get them an EMI record contract. Brian has already sent him a copy of 'My Bonnie'.

7.30pm-2.00am. Concert at the Tower Ballroom, New Brighton, as part of 'The Davy Jones Show': Davy Jones, supported by the Beatles, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, Gerry and the Pacemakers, the Remo Four, Earl Preston and the T.T.s.

1963
Concert at the Odeon, Lewisham ('The Beatles Autumn Tour'). 2 shows.

End of 1st tour promoted jointly by Brian and Arthur Howes, with Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, and support acts, at the Capitol Cinema, Cardiff.

1965
Concert at the City Hall, Sheffield.

'Day Tripper'/'We Can Work It Out' number 1, 1st week, entering the ranking (UK New Musical Express chart).

1966
Studio 1. 2.30-5.30pm. Recording: 'When I'm Sixty-Four' (overdub onto take 2). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald. Studio 2. 7.00pm-3.40am. Recording: 'Strawberry Fields Forever' [re-make] (takes 9-24). Editing: 'Strawberry Fields Forever' (of takes 15, 24). Producer: Dave Harries/George Martin; Engineer: Dave Harries/Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald.

UK EP release: 'Magical Mystery Tour'. First double EP in the UK.

Robert Stigwood and David Shaw resign their directorships in NEMS.

1969
Studio 2. 10.00am-12.15pm. Tape copying with simultaneous recording: 'Octopus's Garden' (takes 1-10). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Martin Benge; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.
Re-recording of Ringo vocal for 'Octopus's Garden', bass, lead guitar and piano with outside musicians, for his appearance on the show 'With A Little Help From My Friends'.

1980
John and Yoko give an interview to Dave Sholin in New York for the RKO Radio Network.
17.00. John and Yoko leave from the Dakota Hotel to Record Plant.
22.50. John and Yoko return to the Dakota Hotel.
23.07. John Lennon is murdered.

1995
'Anthology 1' number 1, 1st week in the ranking ('Feria del Disco' record stores English music chart, Chile).

'Anthology 1' number 21, 1st week in the Top 30 (chart based on Santiago record stores sales, Chile).
